Blue Pulsed Lasers

The BlueBird series of VCSEL pumped self-seeded Single Longitudinal Mode (SLM) master oscillator Nd:YAG laser producing narrow spectrum in nanosecond regime. The highly stable telescopic E-O Q-Switched master oscillator cavity produces a TEM00 spatial mode output that results in excellent beam properties. A self-seeded laser cavity design assures stable SLM output without the use of external expensive narrow linewidth seed diodes and cavity‑locking electronics. A Piezo-driven active laser cavity tuning assures stable SLM laser operation for long time.

Description

The standard BlueBird lasers emits mainly 440nm (the residual 660nm can be also provided as separate output). The laser models with customized specifications such as long pulse duration (up to 250 ns) or different energy (>15mJ) is also available on request.
